My most consistent client has been… me! This is a collection of my “brand” through the years. I feel like I’m ever-evolving, and with that, reflections of my visual identity change with the seasons.
These are just a few iterations of my personal branding and marketing collateral.
Ground Zero Animation Expo is an annual event held in Orange County, CA. I have been lucky enough to be able to design the event collateral since 2017. Projects include the event booklet layout, signage, social media images, marketing collateral, and the recent website migration, reorganization, and redesign.
Cover and book layout designs for several educational publishing titles. Conceptualizing, designing, and laying out the cover spreads as well as implementing universal design templates in InDesign for typesetting each book.
Done while working as an in-house graphic designer for Teacher Created Materials.
Penelope Lane Boutique is a pop-up handmade market with curated makers and vendors. Postcard design and layout for PLB’s Holiday and Spring Markets.
Project deliverables included a two-sided postcard layout and social media images.
The Artist Lodge is a small pop-up art event held 4 times a year. I have participated in my fair share of these small intimate gatherings and the creativity and love behind each event is evident in how the vendors, artists, and attendees continue to come back each time. I was honored to be tasked with the logo redesign by curator Marissa Suto. As an artist herself, she kindly trusted me with the design process and we collaborated with the ideation and new direction she wanted to take the event and how the new logo will reflect that.
Hosted by the Associated Students, Inc. at Cal Poly Pomona, Pieces of Me: Unity In Diversity celebrates Asia & the Pacific Islands Heritage Month. The design brief included designing the poster layout as well as an additional promotional postcard. These printed pieces were used throughout campus for event promotion.
Many moons ago, my nom de plume was “monochromanic”. I also am a sucker for a clever punny portmanteau. So it’s a combination of the word monochromatic (a single color) and manic.
Hand-lettered custom design for my wedding invitations. Printing, production, and assembly were all hand-done. A labor of love. Literally.
Miscellaneous unused logo concepts and color iterations for Teacher Created Materials (TCM), KTGY Group Inc., and ARC3.
Unused concepts for brochure redesign. Done while working in-house as a marketing graphic designer for architecture firm KTGY Group, Inc. For the project-based brochures, I created a template with a minimalistic feel to highlight the property’s photographs by using neutral grays and a subtle green as a nod to the original logo’s colorway. The company brochure is meant to have more impact by utilizing a high-contrast color palette and a layout that mimics the structures in the highlighted projects.
